Help protect the First Amendment and the right to protest on April 21st at 10:00 a.m. in the Asbury Park Municipal Court.
Nearly 5 years ago, Asbury Park Police targeted Randy Thompson, the CEO of Help Not Handcuffs, Inc. in a lawful protest and violently dragged him through the street. No other protestors were arrested at the time or throughout the entire protest. The people had gathered to protest the unnecessary police murder of Asbury Park resident Hasani Best just weeks after George Floyd was murdered by police.
The right to protest and freedom of expression has always been under threat. Please consider coming out to support and call for the charges to be dropped. We need both Justice for Randy and for all people who do and will continue to protest injustice. An injustice against one of us is an injustice against all.
The Asbury Park Municipal Court is located at 1 Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, NJ 07712 and the hearing will start at 10:00 am. |
